Nangray Inclusive Supports is an Adelaide based NDIS Registered Service Provider. We take pride in supporting all individuals living with a disability whilst respecting individual needs, inclusive of cultural & linguistic diversity within our community. Seeking experienced and dynamic person-centred Disability Support Workers to join our growing team at Nangray Inclusive Supports. The current position requires commitment to a 24/7 Supported Independent Living roster, with staff expected to work flexibly across a full range of shifts Monday - Sunday. This includes, morning, afternoon evening and passive nights. Willingness to work weekdays, weekends and passive overnight shifts are an essential part of this position. Disability Support Workers need to have extensive experience implementing strategies as outlined in Positive Behaviour Support Plans, using various communication devices/methods and have a sound knowledge in supporting individuals with Autism. To be successful in your role as a Disability Support Worker, you will have: Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability or equivalent Minimum 1 year of relevant experience supporting individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disability with complex support needs Knowledge & experience Implementing specialist behaviour support strategies NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to apply TGA approved Covid-19 vaccination including booster if eligible or medical exemption Current First Aid/CPR accreditation (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001) Medication Administration Competency (Assist with Medication) Australian Drivers License Availability to work a variety of shifts during the week/weekends Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
