The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Tax, the Corporate Tax Manager will be a key leader in the Finance Division responsible for all corporate tax reporting obligations, providing tax advice for both direct and indirect taxes to the business, whilst ensuring our ongoing compliance with all taxation obligations including income tax, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax, AIIR/FATCA/CRS and payroll tax. Key Responsibilities Preparation and/or supervision of supporting materials for half year and year end income tax returns including individual entities and tax consolidated group calculation Assist with or review of monthly income tax calculations Review Business Activity Statement calculations and lodgement of returns Supervision and detailed review of annual fringe benefits tax return preparation, review of annual payroll tax calculations Assist tax leadership with implications of business activity and proposed transactions, including identification and management of tax risks and exposures Assisting the financial control team with process improvements to lower the risk of non-compliance, including training and mentoring where required Assist with fund tax obligations, as required Preparation or assistance with shareholder data requests in respect to taxes; and About You Qualified CA or CPA 5 years corporate tax experience gained in a professional accounting firm (Big 4 Chartered or second tier) or financial services sector Income Tax Compliance skills in preparing and reviewing income tax returns and business activity statements (Corporate and Trust structures) Detailed knowledge and preparation experience relating to income tax, tax consolidation and indirect tax/ GST in Financial Services Knowledge of securitisation and warehouse trust structures would be highly regarded Experience in funds management and investor tax reporting (e.g. Investor Tax Statements, AIIR, FATCA and CRS) would be helpful Proficient people and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate tax and regulatory requirements into plain English Employee Benefits Were all about balance delivering great work and enjoying the journey.
