We also operate the Western Port Ferry Service, linking Crib Point to French Island and Phillip Island in Western Port Bay, as well as Wanderer AdventuresWilsons Promontory Cruisesbased in Wilsons Promontory National Park. Within this dynamic landscape, the Searoad Hospitality Group is dedicated to providing customer experiences through premium onboard and onshore dining options that enhance our ferry operations. Our state-of-the-art Ferry Terminals include multiple hospitality venuesrestaurants, passenger lounges, bars and function spacesoffering breakfast, lunch, dinner, grab-and-go food options, conferences, private functions, and external catering. The group also manages short-term rental accommodation, external catering services, and retail operations. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and gain invaluable industry experience. You''ll be involved in various tasks that develop your expertise in hospitality, customer service and tourism, including: Front of house (retail and customer service) Back of house (kitchen operations and food prep) Customer engagement (ticketing, responding to enquiries and entering reservations) Retail customer service, display and merchandising Assisting with event operations set up and service Taking orders and using point of sale systems Providing bar and beverage service, including coffee making In addition to hands-on operational tasks, you''ll also gain exposure to other areas that support our business, such as marketing, administration, maritime operations, and overall business support functions. This comprehensive experience will give you a broader understanding of the tourism industry and help you build a well-rounded career in hospitality and tourism.
