A commitment to the MACS 2030 Strategic Plan, the Vision of Instruction, and the Vision of Engagement is required. Experience in leading Numeracy improvement and a deep knowledge of the Launch, Explore, Summarise Pedagogy is preferred. The Numeracy Leader will be a leader who enhances the culture of the school through clear communication and positive relationships. The Maths Intervention Specialist will lead and establish protocols in order to provide an effective Maths Intervention program throughout the school. The successful candidate will lead in partnership with the Principal and School Improvement Team to fulfill the vision of the school. As a leader in our school, the Numeracy Leader develops respectful, collaborative relationships through engaged and purposeful learning that contributes to confident, risk-taking, and reflective learners who strive for excellence. This is an ongoing position; the Numeracy Leader role will be offered as a contracted position in line with the two-yearly POL application process. The time fraction allocated to this position is 0.8 but can be negotiated. This position requires the successful candidate to be a member of St Michael''s School Improvement Team.
