Shuk Group is seeking a dedicated Payroll and Bookkeeper Supervisor to manage our crucial financial and HR administration processes. This critical position requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. This role demands proven expertise in Australian payroll compliance and a forward-thinking approach, including the utilisation of modern data optimisation tools. About the Role As the Part-Time Payroll and Bookkeeper Supervisor, you will be the key operational link between our finance and HR functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and smooth operations across our dynamic hospitality and factory businesses. Essential Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in a combined Payroll and Bookkeeping role, ideally within the Australian hospitality or retail/factory sectors. System Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and dedicated payroll systems is mandatory. Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding and practical application of Australian Awards and ATO compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax). HR Acumen (Highly Desirable): Knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, and contract drafting.
