MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter is seeking applications for an experienced Administration Officer (assisting the Assistant Principal Administration and Enrolments Officer) to join their team. Commencement Date: Tuesday, 27th January 2026 Salary Range: SOF Level 4 - $36.98 - $38.14 gross per hour Employment Type: Term-Time, Permanent Hours: 35-38 Hours Per Week (hours negotiable) Closing Date for Applications: 12.00pm, Tuesday 2nd December 2025 (unless filled prior) MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter MacKillop Catholic College, a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. The College has developed progressively, adding additional year levels annually, and commenced secondary education in 2020 with Year 7, and the first Year 12 cohort graduating in 2025. About the Role The Administration Officer in this position provides a high level of administrative support to the Assistant Principal Administration and provides administrative assistance with the student enrolment processes. Typical duties performed may include, but are not limited to: Provide administrative support to the Assistant Principal - Administration with duties such as: Daily Organisation - review daily bulletin, provide relief teachers with daily timetable and duties, share cover lessons with relief teachers. Create eMinerva activities and rolls for students who are not in regular classes due to other school based activities. Create and send EdSmart Parent Slips to families advising of school activities and excursions. Create and maintain the College calendar Provide support to the Enrolment Officer with duties such as: Review and update enrolment information in eMinerva. Maintain Codafile system to create new student files. Maintain process for exited students. This position demonstrates a degree of self-initiative, flexibility and dependability. This support includes liaison with students, staff and key stakeholders.
