Job description: Better Beyond Care Services, a leading NDIS support provider, is seeking an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to join our dedicated remote team. We provide high-quality support to NDIS participants across Newcastle, Sydney, NSW. This work-from-home contractor role involves supporting NDIS participants, with an expectation of travel for client visits generally within 30 minutes of your location. As a contractor, you will be responsible for managing your sole trader business obligations, including insurance, tax, and other business expenses. As a Support Coordinator, you will provide exceptional services to Level 1, 2, and 3 participants. This includes developing tailored support solutions, assisting with plan reviews, reporting on achieved outcomes, helping participants connect with services, understanding their NDIS plans, and building self-advocacy skills. You will also assist with negotiating service agreements, reducing barriers, addressing crises, resolving points of crisis, strengthening participant networks, collaborating with various stakeholders, and upholding Better Beyond Care Services values, culture, and practices. We are seeking candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Community Services) and at least two years of experience in Support Coordination or case management, a demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and the disability support sector, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, proficiency in digital systems, a genuine passion for making a difference, and the ability to build relationships with providers and grow a participant caseload. Successful candidates will also require: 100 Points of Identification, a valid Driver''s License and comprehensively insured motor vehicle, full Australian working rights, an Australian Business Number (ABN), a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, your States Working with Children Check, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance, copies of relevant course certifications, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
