Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across all regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in recruiting and a deep understanding of the hiring process. Purpose of the Role The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in building, strengthening, and sustaining the Inspired Living QLD workforce. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding high-quality staff who align with ILQs trauma-informed, person-centred, and values-driven approach to care. Working closely with the Staff Operations Lead and Participant Outcomes Lead, the Recruiter ensures ILQ maintains a capable, compliant, and motivated team to deliver exceptional participant outcomes across all programs. This position combines strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment from marketing vacancies and conducting interviews, to onboarding, compliance checks, and cultural alignment. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-performing, values-aligned staff. Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding. Maintain proactive talent pipelines for key positions (Support Workers, Team Leaders, Specialists, etc.). Partner with leadership to forecast stafNing needs in alignment with participant growth and roster planning. Use workforce analytics to monitor turnover, vacancies, and recruitment timelines. Candidate Experience & Engagement Deliver a professional and inclusive candidate experience from application to onboarding. Communicate effectively and promptly with candidates, ensuring clarity and transparency at all stages. Promote ILQs brand and values throughout the recruitment journey. Develop innovative sourcing methods including social media campaigns, referral programs, and partnerships with training institutions and agencies. Compliance & Onboarding Ensure all pre-employment compliance requirements are met (NDIS Worker Screening, Blue/Yellow Cards, First Aid, CPR, qualiNications, police checks, etc.). Manage onboarding documentation and data entry across systems (Employment Hero, ShiftCare). Coordinate induction schedules and ensure new staff complete required training modules. Maintain recruitment records in accordance with ILQs policies and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards. Collaboration & Organisational Culture Work closely with the Staff Operations Lead, Quality & Finance Officer , and Digital Operations Lead to ensure seamless staff onboarding and system integration. Provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment progress, upcoming vacancies, and workforce trends. Support initiatives that promote staff retention, recognition, and wellbeing. Uphold ILQs culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion in all interactions. Continuous Improvement Regularly review recruitment and onboarding processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement feedback from candidates, managers, and leadership to strengthen the recruitment experience. Stay up to date with SCHADS Award changes, employment trends, and NDIS workforce developments.
