Responsibilities: Over manager see the planning, coordination, and execution of special events and private functions, including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budgets. Create detailed event proposals, contracts, and agreements, including menu selection, pricing, and terms. Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure seamless execution of events, including staff scheduling and assignments. Manage event timelines, set-up, and breakdown, ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the event planning process, addressing client inquiries and requests promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and generate sales leads. Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients, showcasing the restaurant''s facilities and capabilities. Maintain an event calendar, booking schedule, and availability for private functions, ensuring maximum utilization of event spaces. Track sales and revenue goals for special events and private dining, reporting performance to management. Qualifications: Previous experience in event planning, hospitality management, or related field. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset. Detail-oriented and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the job. Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year Based on Restaurant Industry Award 2025 Standards . Salary based on a minimum of 38 hours per week.
