The Opportunity: Part-Time 0.6 EFT | Fixed-Term contract of employment until 17 December 2026. PW3 $60,416 - $65,237 per annum pro rata 12% super leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience). Drummond Street Campus onsite parking with close proximity to public transport. Apprentice Central operates as a dedicated department at Holmesglen, focused on providing holistic administration, support, guidance, and advice to both apprentices/trainees and employers. Our goal is to ensure that apprentices and trainees receive the necessary resources and assistance throughout their journey, supporting them from enrolment to successful completion of their apprenticeship. The primary objective of the Administrative & Customer Service Officer role is to provide high level administrative support and exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders and in particular support to the Institutes apprentices and employers throughout apprenticeship journey. Your attention to detail and empathetic approach will see you form strong working relationships with the apprentices and relevant teaching departments ensuring all compliance requirements are achieved. As an Administrative & Customer Service Officer, you will: Deliver a broad range of administrative, reception, and information services in support of the daily operations of Apprentice Central. Serve as the primary point of contact for all departmental enquiries, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service and accurate information across all communication channels, including in-person and telephone interactions. Provide confidential, high-level administrative support to departmental management and staff, ensuring the efficient execution of operational tasks. Offer accurate and timely advice to current and prospective students regarding program options, aligned with organisational policies, procedures, and student needs. Utilise the Institutes student management and administrative systems to deliver efficient, timely, and accurate support for apprenticeship program administration. To be successful, youll have: Diploma of Business Administration or similar tertiary qualification in business, administration or related field and relevant work experience preferably in the education sector. Administrative Support: Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support, including the ability to implement and maintain efficient office management systems, records, and procedures in a complex and fast-paced environment. Organisational ability: Strong organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to prioritise competing tasks, meet deadlines, work independently or in a team, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Systems and Data: Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and generate accurate reports. Experience with database management systems, internet-based applications, and knowledge of student administration systems, apprenticeships, and traineeships is highly regarded. WWCC and Police Check : Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an employee Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
