For Purchasing & Warehouse Officers and Procurement Coordinators to streamline stock management and workshop operations for a specialised joinery manufacturing environment. A permanent full-time role within a respected, innovative workshop setting. Requires: Proven experience in stock management, procurement, and joinery or cabinet making background. Salary guide: $30 to $36 per hour. Location: Southern suburbs of Adelaide, SA. Your normal day will involve: Managing material purchasing and supplier relationship management including price negotiation and scheduling deliveries. Creating and tracking purchase orders, inbound materials checking for quality and accuracy. Maintaining accurate stock levels, inventory data and warehouse organization for safe material storage. Scheduling maintenance for workshop machinery and vehicle assets to ensure uninterrupted operations. Coordinating dispatch and storage of produced joinery items supporting production and drafting teams in meeting deadlines. General warehouse upkeep and supporting adhoc duties as required to maintain workflow efficiency. Occasional handling of deliveries to and from suppliers, dependent on team availability. This intermediate Purchasing & Warehouse Officer role commands professional skills in procurement and stock handling within a high-end bespoke joinery environment. You will contribute fundamentally to keeping the workshop running smoothly by synchronising material flows and ensuring supply chain reliability without the physical travel involved in onsite installations.
