About the Role Were seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our workshop on a part-time or full time basis. Youll have the opportunity to work on rare and iconic vehicles, taking full ownership of the paint and finishing process alongside our Paint Shop Manager. This role is perfect for a qualified tradesperson who wants flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to focus on top-quality work. What Were Looking For Trade-qualified Automotive Spray Painter with proven experience. Expertise with automotive paint systems, materials, and equipment. Strong colour-matching and finishing skills. Experience with classic, vintage, or performance vehicles highly desirable. Problem-solving mindset, pride in your craft, and ability to work independently. Professional, reliable, and a good communicator. Key Responsibilities Mix and apply paints (2K solid, basecoat, acrylic, enamel) to panels, chassis, and components. Prepare and mask items for priming and painting. Finish and polish work to showroom or restoration quality. Manage own workflow in coordination with the Paint Shop Manager. Occasionally liaise with customers and support general workshop tasks. Requirements Qualified Refinisher / Spray Painter with a portfolio of quality work. Own tools relevant to the role. Australian citizen, permanent resident, NZ citizen, or valid work visa. Current Australian drivers licence.
