Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engagement Support Specialist to join our team. FIFO Cairns to the Northern Territory where required. About the role This role sits within the Program and Support team whose mission statement is: We are a solution focused team We build capacity of staff to achieve contract compliance resulting in high performance and quality outcomes We access and understand Business Intelligence to connect performance to action We communicate and implement changes as part of effective process improvement in response to external influences and feedback The purpose of this role is to provide the necessary operational and system support effectively and efficiently to the (previously known as CDP) and now RAES operational team and managers. The role will assist in developing and empower staff to become active contributors to contract compliance and program performance. The role will be performed in a way that adheres to EMG Capability Partner values, policies and procedures and organisational standards in particular quality and service standards, as well as adhering to relevant legislation and all funding body requirements. What youll need to be considered Previous experience in Employment Services, Case Management and/or Post Placement Support positions will be highly regarded. Sound knowledge of Indigenous culture and protocols with the ability to communicate and engage Indigenous communities effectively. Confident skills for leading and coordinating people, problem solving, team building, time management, project coordination, and the ability to develop practical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, people and networking skills to successfully liaise with jobseekers and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong team-based culture with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and efficient mentoring services. Ability to develop and implement mentoring plans and activities to generate engagement of jobseekers, and/or improve output and efficiency. Ability to manage and take ownership of Ability to develop practical and forward-thinking solutions to problems arising in the course of implementing change.
