Selection Criteria In addition to the general selection criteria, Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with a diverse range of complex needs including autism, intellectual disabilities and mental health concerns with a demonstrated ability to differentiate teaching and learning to meet individual student needs. High level communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dynamic leadership and school team to facilitate whole school practices, including strategic planning, leading and monitoring initiatives and applying evaluative practices to drive continuous improvement with a focus on equity. Capacity to lead and support inclusive educational practices that cater to diverse learning needs Strong skills in communicating with students, parents, staff, and the wider school community to promote a whole-school culture that advocates for the needs of students with disabilities.
