Were looking for a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team, bringing your passion for food to elevate a dining experience to new heights, immersed in a stunning beachfront location. Catering for up to 30 guests at a time, youll play an instrumental part in the operation of our kitchen, and will have plenty of opportunity to showcase and develop your skills within a global organisation. You will ensure our customers are satisfied through high quality dishes, customer interaction, high levels of food safety and hygiene practices being air tight. This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to $69,400 super, and is based on-site in scenic Coles Bay, Tasmania. We are also open to candidates on a Working Holiday Visa who may be interested in a fixed term opportunity with us, couples encouraged to apply as we have other roles available within the resort. Some of the experience youll bring with you may include: Experience within a food offering operation. Experience and knowledge in different cooking techniques, styles and procedures. Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to cater for dietaries without compromising on enjoyment. Ability to work as a team and to assist in all operations of the kitchen. A natural communicator who finds it easy to chat to guests.
