Working at CQUniversity The Facilities Management Directorate plays a vital role in shaping the physical environment of our campuses, ensuring they are safe, tidy, functional, and aligned with our strategic goals. As Manager, Estate Services, you will lead a small, high-performing team responsible for CQUniversitys property portfolio, including leasing, housing, disposals, space planning, and the Universitys art collection. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will contribute to master planning, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of professionalism and accountability. You will work closely with the Director and stakeholders across the University to deliver high-impact estate services that enhance the experience of students, staff, and visitors. Christmas and New Year closure)10 days personal/sick leave, plus 5 days carers leave7.25 hours engaged service leaveFantastic professional and career development opportunitiesUp to 26 weeks (six months) paid parental leaveAccess to an Employee Assistance Program and Fitness Passport Position Requirements Significant experience in commercial estate or property management, preferably within a complex, multi-site environment.Demonstrated success in managing commercial, industrial and retail leases and space planning.Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.Experience in developing and managing multi-year budgets.Understanding of WHS legislation, sustainability practices, and risk management in a facilities context.Understanding of sustainability and environmental planning principles (desirable).
