As our Engineering Superintendent, you''ll lead the maintenance and capital work execution crew in the Crushing and Steam generation area of our Plane Creek Mill in Sarina, North Queensland. Your mission? Safe, efficient and effective delivery of work program to support the reliable operation of the sugar mill assets. Responsibilities Bring the asset strategy to life by executing maintenance activities that keep everything running like clockwork. Lead the charge in servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipmentkeeping our operations in top shape. Stay ahead of the curve by predicting maintenance needs and helping to schedule them, minimizing production disruptions. Work hand-in-hand with your Work Co-ordinator, Planner and Scheduler to map out safe and realistic work schedules and keep the team on track. Dive into data to spot opportunities for improvement and boost factory and equipment reliability. Keep the wheels turning by reviewing schedules with the site Scheduler to ensure tasks are completed smoothly and on time. Drive innovation by enhancing existing asset management systems and processes. Collaborate with the Reliability team to set ambitious goals and strategies for the future of the factory and capital plans. Be part of a high performing team in selecting, designing, and commissioning new plant and equipment to ensure top-notch performance and effectiveness. The Successful Candidate We''re on the lookout for someone who''s serious about safety, a natural leader, and great at connecting with stakeholders. If you''re all about structure, details, and have an eye for precision, we want to hear from you! You''ll bring a solid engineering background, whether through a degree or hands-on experience, and at least 5 years in a senior technical role in heavy industry. Experience in the sugar industry, SAP know-how, are a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
