About the opportunity As a Data Services Engineer at Healthdirect, youll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting our mission to provide reliable health information and virtual services to Australians everywhere. Key Responsibilities: Build secure, reliable data ingestion and transformation processes for analytics and compliance.Create and manage XML records and catalogues, ensuring compliance and smooth legacy data transfers.Collaborate across teams to introduce new features and leverage platform enhancements.Proactively monitor systems, resolve incidents, and implement improvements to maintain high service reliability.Work with external partners to enable secure, compliant data exchanges.Maintain enterprise-grade security, optimise costs, and ensure infrastructure is up to date. What Youll Bring Strong SQL development and data modelling skills.2 years experience with Python.Experience in Agile environments and code management (CICD, GitHub).Knowledge of data lake/warehouse architecture and modern data platforms.Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.Experience with AWS services Why work with us We believe our strength comes from our talented and dedicated staff.
