About the role: The roles are starting on a 12-month contract with a view to permanent within the contract period. It will involve working within a busy environment and managing complex inbound and outbound calls with our Banks customers. As a Bereavement Services officer is responsible for ensuring completion of Deceased Estates with adherence to Risk & Compliance requirements. This includes engaging internal and external stakeholders and collaborating closely with peers. This role involves being contacted by both internal and external customers (Solicitors, Executors, and the Australian Branch Network) across various products and services. Location : Full-time in the office (Melbourne CBD) for the 8-week training period and then will move to a Hybrid model. Rate : $45.43 p/h incl. Super Work Pattern : Full-time role - Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 6:00pm Start Dates : January 2026 Duration : 12-month contract - View to go permanent at any time within the 12-month period. Duties: Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Provide customers with all relevant information about their accounts and answer their enquiries accurately. Guide executors through the requirements to finalise an estate Process transactions completely and accurately in the timeframe agreed with the customer Skills & Experience required: A background in Customer Service, Collections, Complaints, Hardship, or dealing with vulnerable people will be highly desirable Proven ability to understand and empathise with customers, ensuring their concerns are addressed with sensitivity and care Highly organised with the ability to work as a team player Dedicated and reliable Exceptional communication and listening skills To hear more about these roles, please apply now.
