In this way, it offers a wide range of services throughout the value chain of projects, adapted to each sector and to the scope of the contract required by our clients, both public and private.Cobra is divided into four main sectors of activity, Networks, Specialised installations, integrated projects and concession assets.ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.With a commitment to driving positive change, contributing to the evolution of Australia''s green energy sector, this is your chance to be part of something groundbreaking!Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking dedicated Project Engineers to share their expertise within our growing Civil team. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure that all civil aspects of the project are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Develop and review civil engineering designs and calculations for transmission line foundations, towers, and associated structuresEnsure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and client specificationsEnsure all quality and environmental aspects of the project are addressed to maintain effective operation and project deliveryMonitor subcontractors performance and ensures the quality and standard of workmanship is in accordance with the specificationsEnsures that program is communicated to subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to maintain commitmentAssist in managing cost control for certain aspects of the project in order to ensure the project meets its performance targets in relation to budget/forecastLead, motivate, and mentor site personnel to foster positive team dynamics, staff moral and work outcomesDevelop and monitor implementation of construction methods including auditsMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, reports, and as-built recordsAssist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans specific to civil worksAddress client queries and concerns related to civil works in a timely and professional mannerCriteria or Selection:Bachelor''s degree in civil engineering, or a related field3+ years of relevant experience in Foundations, ideally in Transmission Lines or civil infrastructure.Problem solving / analytical skillsGeotechnical InterpretationEnsuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfiedWorking knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of sameStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups.We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
