Senior Project Engineer Renewables & Substations (EPC Projects)Location: Camberwell & Various Project SitesReports To: Project Engineering ManagerJoin a Leading Force in Renewable InfrastructureAre you an experienced Project Engineer ready to take the next step in your career?We''re looking for a Senior Project Engineer who thrives on challenge, collaboration, and innovation someone ready to take ownership of complex projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring exceptional technical outcomes every step of the way.What You''ll Be Doing In this pivotal role, you''ll:Lead and manage the technical delivery of renewable and substation EPC projects across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.Provide technical oversight across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to ensure full compliance with standards and specifications.Drive project performance by supporting scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance from inception through handover.Oversee and coordinate procurement activities from bid preparation to supplier management and contract negotiations.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and design integrity are upheld.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical challenges and maintain strong stakeholder communication.Contribute to continuous improvement by developing project management documentation, HSE plans, and quality control systemsAbout You To be successful in this role, you''ll bring:A degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (or related field).Minimum 4+ years'' experience in grid-scale renewable or electrical infrastructure projects, ideally from concept through to handover.Proven experience managing multiple contractors/subcontractors and coordinating technical activities across disciplines.Strong skills in MS Project, MS Office, and engineering design software (Primavera P6 desirable).Excellent communication and report writing skills, with a proactive, handson approach.Experience with permitting processes and engagement with local authorities within the NEM.Why Join Us?Be part of an organisation committed to driving Australia''s renewable future.Work on high-impact, technically diverse projects across multiple regions.Collaborate with a passionate, skilled, and supportive engineering team.Opportunities for career development, growth, and national project exposure.If you''re ready to take the lead on transformative energy projects and make a lasting impact, we''d love to hear from you.
