The Opportunity We are seeking a highly capable General Manager Operations (GMO) to provide strategic and operational leadership across our Operations Department. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for service delivery, operational performance and client satisfaction. The GMO will act as the primary client interface, ensuring contractual KPIs, SLAs and compliance obligations are consistently achieved or exceeded. This role is pivotal in embedding scalable procedures, driving operational discipline and uplifting capability across our frontline and management teams. Key Responsibilities The General Manager Operations will be responsible for, but not limited to: Providing executive leadership to the Operations Department, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all contracts Acting as the senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted partnerships and proactively managing performance, issues and continuous improvement initiatives Establishing, reviewing and embedding operational procedures, SOPs and workflows to ensure KPI compliance, audit readiness and operational resilience Overseeing mobilisation and transition of new contracts, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, risk mitigation and seamless commencement of services Ensuring structured transfer of knowledge across the Operations team, enabling supervisors and support staff to operate autonomously and in full alignment with company protocols Driving capability uplift across the Operations function through coaching, performance management, training alignment and standards enforcement Ensuring Security Officers are deployed, supervised and managed in accordance with client expectations, licensing requirements, award conditions and ICORP Security standards Monitoring operational data, incident trends and performance metrics to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities Collaborating with Training & Compliance, HR, Finance and Technology functions to ensure integrated and compliant service delivery Leading incident escalation, investigations and corrective action processes where required Supporting commercial outcomes by contributing to cost control, productivity optimisation and contract retention Championing a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety and client focus across the organisation About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated senior operations leadership experience within security guarding or a comparable frontline service industry Strong understanding of KPI-driven service delivery, client governance frameworks and contract management Proven capability in building operational systems, procedures and scalable processes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence operating at executive and client leadership level Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and complex rosters A structured, solutions-focused mindset with strong risk and compliance awareness Current Victorian Security Licence (or eligibility to obtain) and a sound understanding of industry awards and regulatory requirements Why Join ICORP Security This is an opportunity to play a critical leadership role in a growing, forward-thinking security services organisation where operational excellence and client trust are core to our success.
