100% Aged Care Presentations Visiting RACF in the Central Coast Region 250p/h (VR/Specialist) Min 2+ Days Per Week (Ongoing) We are a well-established medical group that provides primary care services to the Australian aged care sector. With a national footprint we are actively expanding our operations and are seeking experienced VR GPs to join our team of medical practitioners to provide primary care services to our clients and their residents within Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs). Our clients comprise of both public and private aged care operators, and we are seeking an experienced GP to join our Central Coast Team on either a full or part-time basis (min 2+ days per week on an ongoing basis). Full operational support is provided to the GPs for all administrative and IT matters, allowing you to focus on clinical tasks and patient care. Responsibilities Taking medical history Undertaking clinical examination Arranging any necessary investigations Implementing a management plan Providing appropriate preventive health care Conducting regular reviews and followups with aged care residents Providing services via a mix of onsite and Telehealth Contributing to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions Performing annual health assessment reviews for existing residents Reviewing multidisciplinary care plans and participating in case conferences when needed Qualifications & Requirements Vocational Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner and residence in Australia with Medicare claiming privileges Interest and background in Aged Care / Older person or Geriatric medicine is ideal Visiting RACFs in a defined geographic area; a valid drivers licence and your own vehicle are essential Full and current work rights Excellent communication skills and meticulous recordkeeping Some allowances are paid in addition to the hourly rate (e.g., fuel allowance) We offer exceptional remuneration for this hourly position, including vehicle allowance.
