About the Organisation:We provide 24/7 support for people living with disabilities across Queensland. We are also a leading provider of forensic psychology and disability services training. Our mission is to deliver participantcentred disability support services that empower individuals to thrive. Position Overview:We are seeking a handson and inclusive Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. The CEO, reporting directly to the Director/Founder, will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organisation by planning and delivering strategic objectives and goals, ensuring the delivery of quality support services to people with disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence: Drive organisational change and growth with handson leadership to drive service improvement. Oversee financial performance, risk management, and operational efficiency. Financial Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to guide executive decisionmaking. Oversee financial performance with transparency and longterm sustainability. Governance & Compliance: Champion strong governance and transparent reporting. Embed safeguarding, quality assurance, and continuous improvement into daily operations. Advise the Director/Founder on risks, opportunities, and sector trends. Stakeholder Engagement and Sector Leadership: Act as the public ambassador, building trusted relationships with participants, families, regulators, and partners. Influence sector reform through thought leadership and policy advocacy. People Culture and Capability: Deliver workforce strategies for succession planning, leadership development, and capability building. Inspire and lead a highperforming executive team. Lead and inspire teams, manage change, and drive organisational performance. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Technological innovation: Drivedigital transformation and implement technology enabled solutions for workforce optimisation, participant experience improvement and operational excellence. Key Selection Criteria We are looking for a dynamic leader with: Proven executive leadership experience, ideally as CEO or in a senior management role. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Social/Community Services, Health, or equivalent senior management experience (MBA highly regarded). Deep knowledge of the disability and human services sector, ideally with direct NDIS experience. Proven success in strategic and operational leadership, change management, and organisational growth. Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with emotional intelligence and authenticity. Commitment to personcentred care, safeguarding, and inclusive practices. Demonstrated ability to lead digital transformation and leverage technology for organisational excellence.
