The key duties of the position include: The Director role sits within the Digital Investment Advice & Sourcing Division in the Whole-of-Government (WofG) Contracts Branch. This branch oversees the negotiation and end-to-end management of WofG digital and ICT contracts, ensuring they deliver value throughout their lifecycle. As Director, you will lead the management of multiple WofG arrangements, ensuring contracting frameworks operate effectively and support agency needs. You will also set the strategic direction for an ERP category within the Software Marketplace, driving innovation, best-practice procurement, and strong stakeholder engagement. Please note: This role may require interstate travel from time to time. Key duties: Lead and inspire a high-performing team by providing strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to drive digital transformation across government. Align priorities with the DTAs strategic objectives, champion innovation, and deliver initiatives that create long-term value. Engage and influence senior stakeholders and industry partners to promote best-practice procurement and achieve Whole-of-Government outcomes. Deliver complex projects with impact by managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and successful outcomes in a dynamic environment. Oversee performance and compliance of WofG arrangements and ERP category, managing contracts and risks in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Provide expert advice to executives and stakeholders to support informed decision-making, mitigate risks, and guide strategic investment in digital and ICT initiatives. Eligibility Security Clearance level required: Baseline (or ability to obtain and maintain). To be eligible for employment with the DTA applicants must be an Australian citizen.
