Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met.Key accountabilitiesAs an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfactionIdentification and assessment of risk to the project as well as implementation of strategies to mitigate riskUse your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunitiesCost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planningLead, develop and manage large project teams on the groundBuild effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisorsMaintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the projectRequired Skills and CompetenciesBachelor''s degree in civil engineeringDemonstrated experience leading a team on a major rail or infrastructure projectExperience managing and develop long-term programs as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineersAdvanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representativesACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
