Job DescriptionACCIONA Agua is a global leader in sustainable water infrastructure, delivering innovative solutions for the design, construction, operation, and management of water projects worldwide.We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with strong expertise in Mechanical/Electrical disciplines to join our team and play a key role in delivering major electromechanical desalination projects across Australia.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accurate cost estimates and coordinate proposals for largescale desalination projects.Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and ensure precise cost forecasting.Manage multiple bids and act as the primary liaison between the estimating team and senior leadership.Evaluate and refine estimates based on project requirements and client feedback.Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather pricing for labor, materials, and other project costs.Participate in pre and postbid meetings and ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.Maintain historical cost data and track estimations using internal systems.Mentor and provide leadership to junior estimators.Planning & Quality ControlDevelop and maintain companywide estimating standards and best practices.Ensure estimating tools and methodologies align with industry standards.Collaborate with quality management to uphold compliance and highquality processes.Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelor''s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).Minimum 5 years'' experience in estimating for major water infrastructure projects, ideally in desalination.Proven ability to deliver accurate cost estimates for largescale projects (treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations).Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and cost estimation systems.Proficiency in estimating software and MS Word, Excel, and Access.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company''s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
