Agency : Public Prosecutions, Office of the Director Perth WAFull time, ContractHybrid11h ago , from Western Australia GovernmentThe Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service and confiscation practice.The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia invites applications for consideration for the appointment to the position of Senior Consultant State Prosecutor (Appeals)The Senior Consultant State Prosecutor (Appeals) undertakes a key leadership role in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and represents the State in the most demanding, complex and sensitive appeals, involving appearances in the District and Supreme Courts of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.The role of a Senior Consultant State Prosecutor includes:Assisting in the effective delivery of the ODPP''s criminal prosecution service by providing leadership, direction and support to State Prosecutors.Leading and contributing to strategic organisational change and initiatives within the Strategic Plan.Modelling the ODPP Values and the highest standards of professional and ethical behaviour for ODPP staff at all levels.This role is offered as an up to 5 year fixed term full time contract.
