At Enerven, your work has real impact helping shape the energy future for generations to come.Role summaryEnerven is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Primary Engineer to join our high-performing Engineering Design Team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in delivering complex highvoltage substations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy infrastructure projects that are critical to Australia''s energy future.Key responsibilitiesDevelop equipment layout plans, constraint mapping and earth grid designs.Prepare conduit routing plans, cable schedules, block diagrams and ensure appropriate separation for fibre, fire and security systems.Design lighting systems including lux contour plots, pole specifications and lightning protection solutions.Conduct engineering studies shortcircuit force analysis, lightning protection, fire and acoustic assessments, conductor sizing, sag and tension calculations, clearance verification and oil containment planning.Design layouts for laydown areas, access routes and temporary services for site establishment.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting skill development and ensuring highquality project outcomes.Apply expert knowledge to deliver practical, highperformance primary engineering solutions for complex, highvoltage systems.Qualifications and experienceDegree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and membership or eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (CPEng desirable).Minimum 5 years'' experience in HV substations (33 kV500 kV); background in BESS or renewables is a plus.Minimum of 2 years'' experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical development within a team.Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (e.g. AS NZS 3000).Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; Revit, 3D or BIM experience is a plus.Experience with earthing, lightning, lighting, insulation coordination packages (CDEGs, PSCADD, AGI32 etc.) is advantageous.Excellent technical report writing and communication skills, collaborative and curious mindset, committed to quality design.Current South Australian driver''s licence.BenefitsFlexible work options and employee benefit programs.Flexitime accrual and flexible working conditions.17.5 % leave loading on annual leave.13 % superannuation.Leadership and career development opportunities.Up to $900 in electricity reimbursement each year.Automatic coverage from our income protection scheme.Paid parental leave.ApplyFor further information or any queries about this role, reach out to us at [email protected].#J-18808-Ljbffr
