OverviewEmergency Vet Nurse Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE). Join a dedicated team of experienced vets and nurses in our busy Emergency department. We are seeking a qualified Cert IV veterinary nurse with at least 2 years of experience, ideally in emergency or a busy general practice clinic.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage through their CARE journey.Assist with anaesthesia, procedures and surgery; perform diagnostic sample collection and processing tests; communicate with pet owners, provide guidance, address questions, and offer support during highly emotional times.Collaborate with the team to manage challenging cases and contribute to continuous learning through daily rounds and tutorials.QualificationsCert IV veterinary nurse with at least 2+ years of experience, ideally in emergency or a busy GP clinic.Motivated, conscientious and enthusiastic; able to embrace challenges and work collaboratively to find solutions.Work ArrangementsRole available Part-time or Full-time; we are happy to work with successful applicants to achieve a reasonable work-life balance.Shift options include a combination of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.RemunerationRemuneration is generous and includes significant shift loading for all shifts outside of weekday daytime hours.ApplicationApplying is encouraged.
