Your new role Working across the DHHS Southern Melbourne area, the Principal Strategic Advisor (PSA) works closely with a crosssector partnership to develop, enhance and implement integrated responses to family violence at a local level. The PSA plays an important role in facilitating the development of relationships and partnerships between regional family violence services and other key stakeholders across the child and family, health, criminal justice and legal systems. With a collaborative approach, the PSA will support the implementation of family violence reforms, which aim to enhance service outcomes for both victim survivors and perpetrators of family violence. The PSA will drive system level changes that ultimately prevent and respond to family violence. Your skills and experience To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having: A tertiary degree in social work, psychology or a related discipline Extensive experience within the health and community services sector Demonstrated experience in senior level strategic advisory roles Sound understanding of family violence within a gendered framework An understanding of the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Family Violence and Family Violence Reforms Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal How to apply Click APPLY to submit your interest.
