Senior People & Culture Business Partner Sureway Employment and Training Brisbane QLD Full time position based in one of Sureway''s offices in the Brisbane area - Ipswich, Greenslopes, Inala, Wynnum. Our organisation is experiencing exciting growth following a recent major tender win, and our People & Culture team is expanding to support Sureways next chapter. Were seeking a Senior People & Culture Business Partner to provide senior-level partnering to our leaders, while also leading and supporting our small Business Partner team. This role plays a key part in shaping a culture that is inclusive, accountable and aligned to Sureways purpose, ensuring our people practices support both performance and positive community outcomes. Reporting directly to the GM, People & Culture, this role balances handson business partnering with people leadership and coordination of key P&C initiatives. Its a role for someone who enjoys staying close to the business while lifting capability and consistency across the BP function. Duties Provide senior People & Culture business partnering support to Executives and leaders Lead, coach and line manage two People & Culture Business Partners Ensure consistent, high-quality BP practice across the team Support and guide organisational and structural change activities Oversee the progress of P&C projects and initiatives, ensuring clear communication, momentum and delivery Act as a key conduit between the GM P&C and the BP team Build and coach leadership capability in the organisation Provide advice on complex employee relations, performance management and workforce matters Use data and insights to inform people and organisational decisions Skills & Experience Significant experience in a senior HR / People & Culture business partnering role Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring other HR professionals Strong capability in organisational change, employee relations, project and stakeholder management The confidence to influence at executive level while remaining pragmatic and grounded Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial frameworks Experience in community services, notforprofit or similarly complex environments (highly regarded) Benefits Birthday leave celebrate your special day with a paid day off every year Ongoing learning and development access programs & study assistance to grow your skills and career Additional leave enjoy an extra week off each year after 3 years of service Recognition that means something be celebrated through monthly awards and our annual team awards program We pay above award rates because your time and talent are worth more At Sureway, we believe in offering more than just a job.
