The Role We are looking for a qualified health care professional with: Current registration as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. At least one full year of nursing experience. Our Enrolled Nurses (ENs) contribute to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients. You will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW or Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation. Reporting to a passionate Nurse Unit Manager, you will work alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team comprising of primary care, drug & alcohol, and mental health services. You will also have the support of an on-site Clinical Nurse Educator and a team of nurses focused on providing quality care to some of society''s most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Location Macquarie Correctional Centre houses maximum-security male offenders and is a 10 minute drive from the Wellington town centre, 354 km northwest of Sydney. It is located adjacent to the Wellington Correctional Centre. Wellington features famous caves, colonial heritage, tranquil gardens and a beautiful lake. Enjoy bushwalking and mountain biking in the Mount Arthur Reserve and water sports on Lake Burrendong, which has a towering dam you can walk across.
