We deliver general fabrication, machining, maintenance, industrial repairs, and small-to-medium engineering projects for a wide range of local and regional clients. With steady growth and an expanding workload, were now recruiting a handson, technically capable Project Manager to run jobs end to end in a fastpaced, highmix engineering environment. What Youll Be Doing Run jobs end-to-endscope, pricing, Planning, delivery and closeout Manage client requirements and ensure scope, quality and timelines stay on track Interpret drawings, understand the work technically, and solve problems as they arise Coordinate drafting and engineering requirements for your projectsusing internal or external resources as needed, and completing simple drawings yourself for straightforward jobs. Manage procurement, materials, and workshop scheduling for your projects Provide technical guidance to trades in the workshop and on site Organise all site requirements including access, materials, install plans and documentation Manage budgets, variations and job progress to ensure profitable, clean delivery Work with the General Engineering team to set realistic schedules and keep workflow moving What Were Looking For Trade qualification (boilermaker, fitter) or Engineering diploma/degree Strong fabrication knowledgesteelwork, plate, welding processes, workshop disciplines Experience delivering smalltomedium engineering/fabrication jobs Ability to read, interpret and modify drawings (SolidWorks experience ideal) Comfortable with site work, measureups, and solving problems on the fly Great communicator who can talk shop with both clients and tradies Organised, accountable and able to run multiple jobs at once Someone who enjoys variety no two jobs are the same A handson mindset and willingness to get into the detail Why Youll Love Working Here Stable, growing workload with longterm clients Role has real ownership youll be the key technical point of contact Supportive, experienced workshop team Chance to grow with the General Engineering business as it scales Ready to Lead Technical Delivery in a Growing Engineering Team? #J-18808-Ljbffr
