We invest heavily in our team members who enjoy industry-leading professional development, exceptional career opportunities, and mobility across our group.ROLE SUMMARY:Our Early Childhood Educators at Reddam Early Learning School (ELS) play a pivotal role in providing exceptional early learning experiences for children aged 1-5 years, with a holistic focus on emotional, social, and cognitive development. In alignment with the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the educator will nurture curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, while forming collaborative relationships with families to foster a community of trust and respect.Our purpose-built school facilities serve to enhance the learning process. Classrooms are well-resourced with flexible layouts to support various activities, while generous outdoor areas promote physical activity, play and social interaction. Nurturing skilled communicators is integral to our daycare program. Little ones learn to express themselves in a range of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture and music.As a casual Early Learning Educator you will be required to be available 2-5 days per week. This role is located in Lindfield - Close to public transport. Become part of the Reddam Early Learning Family.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Room Leader in delivering an engaging, inquiry-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, catering to the developmental needs of children aged 1-5 years.Maintain comprehensive and ongoing documentation of each childs development, using reflective practices to inform planning and individualised support.Conduct observations, assessments, and plan for a small group of children, ensuring their holistic development.Curate stimulating and developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments that inspire curiosity and creativity.Foster meaningful, respectful partnerships with families, providing regular updates and involving them in their childs learning journey.Collaborate with the broader team to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning culture, contributing to team planning and professional growth.Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that meets both regulatory requirements and Reddam Houses high standards of care and safety.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:Strong understanding of child-led and inquiry-based learning methodologies, with a commitment to the Reggio Emilia philosophy.Experience in early childhood education, with a demonstrated passion for supporting young childrens development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, children, and families.Adaptability and openness to continuous professional development, staying updated on best practices in early childhood education.Ability to contribute to team planning and work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive environment.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:Passionate and nurturing, with a genuine interest in fostering childrens learning and development.Creative and flexible, with the ability to adapt learning environments and approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.Curious and reflective, consistently seeking ways to improve practice and engage children in meaningful, inquiry-based learning.Collaborative and team-oriented, contributing positively to a culture of learning and respect among both educators and children.Empathetic and patient, demonstrating an ability to build trust and strong relationships with young children and their families.QUALIFICATIONS:Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards these qualifications.Applicants will be required to be ACECQA approvedValid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
