Your RoleWe are looking for new warehouse team members to work as Machine Operators on a casual basis in Maitland. You will be required to operate fast paced recycling equipment helping in collecting, sorting, and disposing of recyclable drink containers. This role requires the ability to operate a semi-automated sorting machine, ability to troubleshoot, engage with customers and complete throughput within a fast-paced environment.On the job training in using specialised equipment will be provided. Your great customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members are important to this role. A current Forklift Licence is Desirable (Counter Balance). Experience or knowledge of working within a factory environment is also desirable or someone who is willing to work on their feet for a set period of time.Your ResponsibilityOperate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containersUse forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containersOperate point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactionsAssist in other activities i.e. housekeeping, maintenance of warehouse equipment, reporting faulty equipment needing repair, etc.You Will NeedExcellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer serviceExperience in using forklifts and a current valid Forklift LicenceExperience working within a warehouse and/or production environmentCapacity to perform manual/physical tasksAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independentlyThorough understanding of work, health and safety requirements within a warehouse environmentApply NowIf this sounds like you, dont waitapply now.
