Reporting directly to the Flight Nurse Manager, you will work in a diverse, fulfilling and rewarding environment. We believe our people all of our people keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying. Specifically, You Will Be at the forefront of aeromedical health services, providing primary response, intensive care, midwifery and trauma services, including emergency retrievals, as part of our highperformance aeromedical team in regional, rural and remote SA & NT Work in a dynamic environment using your skills and experience to deliver outstanding patient care, where two days are never the same. About You You are: A healthcare professional who takes pride in delivering high quality nursing and midwifery care Professional in your approach to service delivery Willing to work collaboratively with other health professionals, pilots, and operational employees to provide high quality health care in a remote environment, Have a great sense of adventure. To Be Considered For The Role You Require AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Five (5) Years Minimum Post Registration Experience Which Must Include a Minimum Of Three (3) Years Experience In a Critical Care Environment, After Completion Of a Recognised Tertiary Post Graduate Certificate (or Higher) In Either Emergency Medicine Or Intensive Care. The Experience Must Be In Either a Recognised Major Regional or Tertiary Hospital Emergency Department with 24 hour indepartment medical coverage Recognised Intensive Care Unit; or Cumulative of three years critical care experience across both environments Our Benefits As part of our team, you can expect to be provided with challenging, interesting work and be supported to achieve your best.
