We are now seeking to welcome a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to join our dynamic team, based in our Unanderra head office. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our continued growth and success by overseeing key commercial civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the design process by providing insights on constructability, ensuring that designs are efficient, practical, and costeffective for civil engineering projects. Review and manage design changes and variations in engineering and architectural drawings. Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for materials, ensuring that project requirements are met within budget and according to design specifications. Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of materials and labour and other resources. Design and analyse structures to ensure they are stable and resilient, preventing issues such as collapse, bending, twisting, or undesirable vibrations. Oversee the management and control of project documentation, including technical drawings, contracts, and other essential records. Review technical documentation including ITPs, SWMS, design plans, and specifications and Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) documentation. Source, assess, and onboard suppliers, ensuring they meet the required HSEQ standards and project specifications. Review supplier documentation and drawings for compliance. Manage daytoday subcontractor activities, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Ideal candidate must have: Minimum Bachelor in degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant fields. At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, ideally in commercial or industrial construction. At least 2 years of field experience in Australia. Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and environmental requirements. Proficiency in Premier CS, Bluebeam, Buildsoft, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in site preparation, drainage, foundation design, and infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience in project planning, scheduling, tendering, and contract documentation. Excellent technical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Current Construction White Card and NSW Drivers Licence are essential. Strong analytical and decisionmaking capabilities to handle onsite challenges.
