Your Role We are seeking a vibrant, efficient, and energetic person for the position of Finance Officer. This is a term-time continuing position for 38hpw (8:00am 4:00pm, Monday Friday), commencing from January 2026 (as negotiated with the successful applicant). The Finance Officer will apply a depth of knowledge and a broad range of skills which facilitate the financial management and administration of the school. Duties performed include, but are not limited to: Practising confidentiality in relation to all aspects of the role Providing administrative support to senior management of the school where discretion and judgement are required, including initiating and handling correspondence (which may include confidential correspondence); monitoring telephone calls; and establishing and/or maintaining working filing systems Within a variety of routines, methods and procedures providing significant assistance in the preparation and analysis of financial information to trial balance, budgets, profit and loss reports, balance sheet reports, trading activity reports, cash management analysis, purchasing control procedures, prepare monthly summaries of debtors and creditors ledger transactions and reconciliations (NOTE an employee is not required to perform all duties listed to satisfy this skill descriptor) Applying knowledge of advanced functions of computer software packages and managing data Training staff classified at lower levels by means of personal instruction and demonstration For more information, please review the Position Description.
