Operations Supervisor Armed High-Value Security Perth Airport | Full-Time | Lead WA Armed & Valuable Cargo Operations We are expanding our high-value secure logistics capability across Western Australia and are recruiting an Operations Supervisor to take ownership of daily armed operations, compliance governance, and workforce leadership. This is a pivotal operational role supporting high-value asset movements, aviation-secure workflows, and frontline service delivery. The successful candidate will also progress into the companys Authorised Person position under WA licensing requirements. About the Role Youll lead a high-performance armed security team, driving operational execution, regulatory compliance, and customer outcomes across Perth Airport and the broader metro network. Key responsibilities Daily planning and deployment of armed crews, routes, and secure vehicles. Oversight of armoury, firearms governance, and training/competency records. Managing staff performance, readiness, licence currency, and operational discipline. Incident management, investigations, reporting, and corrective actions. Stakeholder liaison with customers, airport authorities, WAPOL, and other regulators. Progression into the Authorised Person role, overseeing WA licensing compliance for the organisation. What You Need (WA Licensing Compliant) Current WA Security Officer Licence with Armed Guard endorsement. Certificate III in Security Operations (CPP31318) or equivalent. First Aid (HLTAID011). Eligibility for a Category H Occupational Firearms Licence (WA Police Firearms Licensing). Ability to obtain an ASIC and, ideally, an Airside Driving Authority (ADA). Clean national police record and ability to meet all WAPOL probity requirements for Authorised Person nomination. Experience in armed security, defence, policing, aviation security, CIT, or other high-regulation operational environments will be highly regarded.
