The Bundaberg site is home to a modern, high-throughput dehusking and sorting facility, capable of handling over 4,000 tonnes of nut-in-husk per year. About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a technologically advanced macadamia processing shed during the February to September harvest season. This includes dehusking, sorting, receivals and dispatch, logistics coordination, and efficient machinery operation. Responsibilities Liaise with farm managers and area manager to optimise scheduling and communication Lead seasonal site operations with a focus on throughput, quality, and safety Supervise seasonal team members during single and double shift operations Coordinate receivals, processing, dispatch and data entry for traceability Contribute to continual process improvement and system optimisation Ensure compliance with OH&S procedures and food safety standards About You The successful candidate will have: Qualifications 3+ years experience in agricultural processing, manufacturing or similar operational environments Comfortable with IT systems (spreadsheets, digital logs, troubleshooting basic tech issues) Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage seasonal teams A practical, proactive, and safety-focused mindset An LF Forklift Licence (desirable) Whats In It For You?
