You will be autonomous, out on the road and a team player.ResponsibilitiesStarting your day early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates at the facilityCompleting your own daily vehicle safety checkLoading your vehicle with your deliveries for the dayDelivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businessesPaired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional developmentQualificationsYou hold a full or probationary Australian motorcycle licence, and ride a geared motorcycle currently, regularly, and confidentlyOn employment, youll need to successfully pass our mandatory and practical motorcycle assessmentYou are flexible with finishing times and working additional hours if requiredYou have a good memory, great hand/eye coordination, and excellent attention to detail for when sorting mailYou enjoy physical work indoors and outdoors and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularlyYou will need to meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)You are open to being flexible to transition to be trained and deliver on an Electric Delivery Vehicle if business requirements changePayPay rate for this role is $32.34ph for the first 3 months, then $36.99ph once fully trained plus 12% superannuation.Training and SupportAt Australia Post, our training and induction programs offer support to ensure we set you up for success. You will attend an induction in your first week with our Learning and Development Team followed by a site-specific induction at your respective facility and additional online learning modules.
