About the Position: The Camp Activity Coordinator plays a central role in planning, facilitating and delivering adventure activities including high and low ropes courses, rockclimbing, archery and overnight hiking expeditions to guests of all abilities. The salary features a generous taxfree component, providing a greater takehome benefit. Key responsibilities include: Plan, supervise and facilitate camp and adventure activities, including day bookings, expeditions and school holiday programmes. Ensure all activities meet Cahoots safety standards and risk management policies. Recruit, train, roster and manage Activity Facilitators to deliver highquality experiences. Inspect and maintain activity equipment in collaboration with the Caretaker, Camp Manager and Maintenance Officer to achieve WorkSafe and industry compliance. Continuously improve the activity programme to enhance guest engagement and safety. Operate within the allocated activity and equipment maintenance budget. Maintain stock levels to ensure uninterrupted activity delivery. Assist in maintaining the presentation and functionality of campgrounds and facilities. Communicate clearly and regularly with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations. Be rostered and serve as a weekend Duty Manager for the camp up to four weekends per year, overseeing site operations, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, coordinating staff and handling issues that arise during rostered weekends. Key Outcomes: Safe, inclusive and engaging activities delivered consistently to a high standard. Welltrained and supported activity staff contributing to a positive team culture. Activity equipment and facilities maintained to ensure safety, compliance and presentation. Efficient operations and guest satisfaction through proactive communication and service. Continuous improvement in programming and service delivery aligned with Cahoots values. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have the following: Experience in the outdoor education/adventure industry. Excellent organisational skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office. Welldeveloped personal and team leading skills. Demonstrated experience in supervising small teams and providing leadership in a professional environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritise simultaneous requests. Hold or be willing to obtain Certificate III Outdoor Leadership level accreditation or higher in units including: Conduct bushwalking activities for recreation. Lead challenge course sessions, high elements or similar abseiling or climbing units. Lead archery sessions. Hold or be willing to obtain Provide First Aid and Provide CPR certification. Hold or be able to obtain a current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate. Wilderness First Aid and Bronze Medallion or equivalent are looked on favourably.
