Sales Assistant Furniture, Bedding & Lounges Grafton, NSW MacLeods Furniture and Beds R Us is a familyowned business with stores in Coffs Harbour and Grafton, NSW. We offer a wide range of bedroom and dining room furniture, mattresses from brands such as Sleepmaker and Sleepyhead, and lounges & recliners from LaZboy, Zoletti, and IMG. About the role We are looking for a talented sales assistant for a casual/parttime position in Grafton, available to work weekdays and shared weekends. The role has the potential to evolve into a fulltime position. Responsibilities Retail sales and customer service on the trading floor and showroom Merchandising and decorating displays Handling phone and email enquiries and processing sales Purchasing, payment processing, and pointofsale usage Basic administration and computer operation Assembly and disassembly of furniture Cleaning and housekeeping duties Receiving orders in the storeroom and coordinating deliveries Qualifications & Skills Passionate about customer service Positive, cando attitude and willingness to learn new skills Experience in a customerservice or sales role Ability to thrive in a busy work environment Teamoriented but able to work independently Clear communicator with problemsolving skills Benefits A generous bonus system for performance Full training in all areas of the business: stock receipt, dispatch, administration, sales, ordering, and merchandising The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training in all areas of our business.
