STAR is committed to building inclusive communities and combating social isolation through regular programs and events.About the RoleThe Admin Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting, coordination, and execution of fundraising activities and sponsorship initiatives for aged care and disability services. This position will involve working closely with the Business Developer to enhance external stakeholder and community engagement and generate financial support for the organization. The role also encompasses the coordination of community events designed to raise awareness and funds, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and community members.Key Responsibilities (not limited to)Assist in / research for the preparation of fundraising proposals, sponsorship packages, and related documentation.Assist in sending out thankyou letters, acknowledgment certificates, and impact reports to donors and sponsors.Handson set up of events, pick up and delivery of equipment, purchasing items for events, and sorting items for use across other STAR locations Cleveland, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Logan, SMB Islands, Stradbroke Island.Support the organization and execution of community fundraising events.Maintain uptodate and accurate records of fundraising activities, sponsorship agreements, and community events.Assist in drafting promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content to enhance visibility and engagement for fundraising initiatives.Engage with community groups, local businesses, and media outlets to build relationships and promote fundraising activities.Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Development to support the overall objectives of the organization.What can STAR Community Services Offer You?Fulltime role based in ClevelandCompetitive salary package + benefit of NFP salary sacrifice options.
