Job Responsibilities Maximizes employee performance through coaching and handson operational and financial project support, ensuring quality implementation of studies delivered on time and on budget. Supports growth and development of line reports through collaboration with project teams and resourcing and identification of related opportunities within and external to assigned projects. Utilizes relevant systems and reports to monitor applicable studylevel metrics, adherence to SOP/WIs and required training and documentation. Builds strong relationships with line reports and provides continuous monitoring/support of employee motivation and job satisfaction. Drives development and implementation of tools, processes and engagement strategies to support employee motivation, satisfaction and retention. Onboards employees according to countryspecific employment regulations. May serve as subjectmatter expert (SME), responsible for training and inquiries on a specific topic. Provides feedback to line reports both realtime and through the appraisal process to develop key project management competencies. Performs ongoing assessment of employee training needs and leads the development/delivery of new or enhanced processes, procedures and training, including provision of scientific training to expand project management knowledge across different disease types. Acts as a change agent; develops and implements helpful materials and information to support the change of team members, championing change by gaining support and commitment from employees by explaining how new initiatives or changes will benefit them. Leads interview and selection process of project management staff. Collaborates with Project Delivery team to ensure PMs are successfully delivering based on study metrics and reporting. May serve as line lead. Qualifications Bachelors degree in life sciences, nursing or equivalent related experience, plus extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, including some time in a leadership capacity. Extensive knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements. Strong project delivery capability demonstrated by a successful track record of managing clinical projects. Demonstrated ability to develop talent and manage a large team, prioritizing key areas that drive maximum impact. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and changemanagement skills, both written and spoken. Strong timemanagement, technical and organizational skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment. Knowledge of basic financial concepts related to forecasting and budgeting; understanding of project budgets. Good computer skills and willingness to embrace new technologies.
