You will play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery, driving clinical excellence, and supporting innovation within one of Queenslands leading tertiary and referral health services. About the Service The Womens and Childrens Service Group delivers a broad range of care from primary and community-based services through to acute, critical, and tertiary care. Recognised for: Tertiary and referral-level clinical services Strong research, teaching, and innovation culture Supportive leadership and collaborative teams Regional lifestyle advantages with metropolitan-level practice About the Role As Clinical Director, you will:> Provide strateg leadership and direction for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care Oversee clinical governance, workforce planning, and service development Ensure compliance with Queensland Health policies, professional standards, and ethical practice Work closely with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders Support education, training, research, and continuous quality improvement About You Medical qualification with eligibility for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia FRANZCOG (highly desirable) or equivalent specialist qualification Demonstrated experience in senior clinical leadership within Obstetrics & Gynaecology Strong governance, service planning, and workforce leadership capability Commitment to education, safety, and continuous improvement Remuneration & Benefits Total Remuneration Package: $428,904 $536,916 p.a. Attraction & Retention Allowance: Up to 50% of base salary Motor Vehicle Allowance: $21,000 $25,500 p.a. Professional Development Allowance: $21,500 p.a. Professional Development Leave: 3.6 weeks p.a.
