The New School of Arts Neighbourhood House (NSOA), South Grafton SCHADS Level 8 - from $65.39 per hour The New School of Arts Neighbourhood House Inc. (NSOA) is a long-standing community anchor in South Grafton, home to the NSOA Early Learning & OOSH Centre and a comprehensive range of youth and community programs. We are seeking an experienced, values-driven General Manager who is committed to local partnerships and place-based initiatives that strengthen inclusion, connection and resilience. You will work together with a dedicated volunteer Board and a skilled Leadership Team to strengthen a culture of collaboration, shared leadership, and reflective practice across the organisation. This role is perfect for a senior community-sector leader who thrives in regional NSW, values culturally safe and community-led practice, and can balance strategic vision with operational excellence. In this role, you will: Lead community-centred engagement and development Foster a positive, inclusive workplace where collaboration and shared decision-making thrive Champion place-based, culturally safe community development practices Strengthen partnerships with families, communities, local services and government Ensure financial sustainability, governance compliance and continuous improvement Support innovation driven by genuine community voice and local need You will bring: Leadership experience in community development, education, health or social services Strong grounding in community development principles and collaborative practice Demonstrated success partnering with community-based Boards and multidisciplinary teams Experience in governance, compliance, budgeting, funding contracts and acquittals High-level communication skills and the ability to build relationships built on trust, respect and cultural safety If youre a collaborative leader who thrives in regional communities and believes in the power of people working together, wed love to hear from you.
