Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our Technical Advisory and Capability stream. We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. Were interested in hearing from professionals with experience aligned with the below roles for our Canberra office: Solution Architect Infrastructure Architect Cyber Security Architect Network Architect What Youll Bring Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries. Experience contributing to the successful outcome of ICT projects within Defence ICT environment. Demonstrated experience defining ICT solutions aligned with future-state architecture. Demonstrated experience delivering detailed designs to a high standard. Demonstrated experience working within a high-functioning ICT Team. Strong communication skills, and youll also be an analytical thinker who loves solving complex problems. Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
