You will provide preliminary legal advice primarily in criminal law and contested estates while guiding clients through next steps and arranging consultations with the appropriate lawyer. The position also includes paralegal work.New Client Enquiry Solicitor ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound enquiries via phone, email, Teams, and website.Provide preliminary legal advice on criminal law and contested estates matters.Arrange consultations (video or in-office) and allocate clients to the correct lawyer.Conduct conflict checks and ensure accuracy in matter assignment.Support enquiry conversion and maintain timely communication with clients.Assist with occasional afterhours enquiries when required.Paralegal ResponsibilitiesManage client communication and solicitor diaries.Maintain files and prepare documents in the practice management system.Record time accurately and support basic financial processes.Anticipate tasks to reduce solicitor workload and support clients appropriately (without giving legal advice).Assist other PAs and Legal Operations as needed.About YouStrong interest or experience in Criminal Law and Contested Estates.Confident communicator able to provide clear, preliminary legal guidance.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Professional, client-focused, and able to work autonomously.Prior experience in criminal law (as a paralegal or solicitor) is highly regarded, though full training is provided.Benefits and PerksCompetitive remuneration.Continuing development and training.Dynamic, ambitious, and supportive national team.Innovative and fastgrowing national firm.Supportive, fun, and caring culture.Ready to take on this exciting opportunity?
